I'm doing fine here in Thailand, whatever form of government is in power right now.
I was notified at 6:50 AM that school would be closed because the military commanders who had taken over the government had decreed it so. But I came anyway because I needed to get some marking and preparation for final exams done.
Stopped off to buy some sticky rice with garlic pork at the South Market, (it's along my 2km walk up the Nan river to school).
After school, I went to the internet cafe to play my favorite game, DOTA Allstars (a WarCraft 3 mod). Today I had my best game ever - after 58 minutes of play I had 37 kills and only 3 deaths. I pretty much single-handledly won the game, which is normally 5 on 5. I controlled my hero so deftly that I was able to solo groups of enemy heroes. Granted, the enemies today were highly noobesque.
I'm about to grab some grub, then play a game of poker with some expats. I will also win this, despite that fact that a ladyboy in Lampang is praying for one of my New Zealander competitors.
Thus concludes an exciting day.
